# Photos | Website Manual

**Photos**

The Photo module places a single image in a column.

## Before you finish

**Not seeing your change?**

Your browser may be showing a copy it saved earlier. Open the page in a private window, or press Ctrl + F5 to reload it fresh (Cmd + Shift + R on a Mac).

If your site has a caching plugin, clear its cache too. There is usually a button for it in the bar along the top of the dashboard. Still the old version after a few minutes? Ask whoever looks after your site to clear the server cache.

### Good to know

The Photo module places a single image in a column. You can choose one from the Media Library or upload a new file, then set its crop, alignment, link and caption.

Every photo needs alt text that describes what it shows, for people using screen readers and for search engines. Photos straight off a phone are often very large and slow the page down, so resize them before uploading if you can.
