Not seeing your change?

Your browser may be showing a copy it saved earlier. Open the page in a private window, or press Ctrl + F5 to reload it fresh (Cmd + Shift + R on a Mac).

If your site has a caching plugin, clear its cache too. There is usually a button for it in the bar along the top of the dashboard. Still the old version after a few minutes? Ask whoever looks after your site to clear the server cache.

Good to know

New blocks are added with the plus button, either at the top of the editor or beside an empty line. You can also type a forward slash on an empty line followed by the block name, such as /image, to add one without reaching for the mouse.

Searching by name is quicker than scrolling the whole list. If a block you have seen elsewhere is missing, it may come from a plugin that isn't installed on your site.

The interface changed again. Your actual job has not.

Your website should be handled. Not handed back to you.
