Not seeing your change?

Your browser may be showing a copy it saved earlier. Open the page in a private window, or press Ctrl + F5 to reload it fresh (Cmd + Shift + R on a Mac).

If your site has a caching plugin, clear its cache too. There is usually a button for it in the bar along the top of the dashboard. Still the old version after a few minutes? Ask whoever looks after your site to clear the server cache.

Good to know

Restoring a post brings it back out of the Trash with its text, images, categories and tags intact. Trashed posts are listed under the Trash link above your list of posts.

Restored posts usually return as drafts, so they won't show until you publish them again. Look at the publish date as well. An old date will place the post further down your blog listing.

You needed to change one thing. Now you are learning the editor again.

Your website should be handled. Not handed back to you.
